Playdough
Ingredients:
1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
2 t. cream of tartar
1 c. water
2 T. oil
1 t. food coloring
Mix together all ingredients in a pot and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it forms a ball.
Remove from heat and turn out onto board to knead
Store in an airtight container for several weeks.
Gluten-Free Play Dough
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rice flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup salt
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon cooking oil
Food coloring, if desired
Directions:
Mix ingredients. Cook and stir on low heat for 3 minutes or until it forms a ball. Cool completely before storing in a sealable plastic bag.
